STIRRUPS has a logo!

STIRRUPS finally has a logo! There were many rounds of edits as I can be a slight perfectionist at times. I wanted the logo to bring out the originality and antiquity of the trailer by capturing the first picture I ever took of it. In efforts to incorporate the meaning of STIRRUPS into the logo, we added a cocktail stirrer as the "i". I am so excited to start using this new logo to make merchandise! Keep an eye out for the launch of our shop :)
From the beginning

After a couple years of searching for the perfect trailer at the right price, we finally found one! This vintage 1979 Kingston trailer was being used to haul a 1,500 pound quarter horse named Everest. The previous owner was selling it due to the amount of rust it was gaining and determined it was no longer safe for her horse to travel in. Once we got it home, our first step was to take the floor out to get a better look at what we’re dealing with. While we were at it, we took out the center divider and all of the wood paneling. After getting a good look at the frame, we determined it best to bring to a welder to help reinforce the frame, patch any holes in the roof and replace any steel panels it may need. We are so excited for this next step and can’t wait to see it once the steel work is complete.
